Rob's Research Results and Links
Here are some higlights of research projects to which I have the pleasure
of contributing. See
my papers for more detailed information.
Note that most of the images you will see came directly or with minor touch
up from map3d, the program we have developed for interactive viewing of
three-dimensional datasets. We first released map3d into the public domain
in September, 2000 as part of the NCRR Center for Bioelectric Field
Modeling, Simulation, and Visualization. Please go there if you are
interested in more information or to download the program
- Ischemia during PTCA occurs in patients and
we have developed some approaches to localize the electrical
consequences.
- Quan Ni's web site is
also a good source of research results and information.
- Cardiac mapping is an technique we use
for most of our studies at the CVRTI.
- Estimation of cardiac activation from
venous catheter measurements is another project with potential
clinical impact.
- The SCI Institute is also a
major part of my research activities.
- Gordon Kindlemann's
web site has a cool volume rendering of dataset from magnetic
resonance angiography; I had no part in this work but the images are
stunning.
- Research assets in
cardiovascular research at the Univeristy of Utah. These are all
people engaged in cardiovascular research at this fine institution.
